1. Recite the blessing:


Blessing for the counting of the omer
   Baruch atah adonay eloheynu melech ha'olam asher kidshanu
   bemitzvotav vetzivanu al sefirat ha'omer

Blessed are you, ETERNAL, our God, the sovereign of all worlds, who has
   made us holy with your mitzvot and commanded us
  concerning the counting of the Omer.

2. Count the Homer:

 
Let's tell the story of crossing the sea

Hayom shishah yamim la'omer.
Today is the sixth day of the Omer.

This is the seventh day of Passover.
